Natalie Portman spoke about the divorce in Jimmy Fallon's studio and this time she revealed some details from the separation. It seems that for the actress, a chance meeting with Rihanna at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year was enough for Natalie to change her approach to divorce.

“It was an amazing experience for me,” Portman said during the latest episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "I think every woman going through a divorce should have a moment with Rihanna telling her she's a bad b*tch."

Moderator Fallon then released the video and the moment when the singer tells the actress that she was a fan of hers.

After Natalie expresses disbelief, Rihanna adds: "You're one of the hottest girls in Hollywood." The actress adds that: "This for me was a very formative moment in my life."

For the well-known actress, it seems that this was the moment she really needed in her life, as she was experiencing separation from her husband.

"It was exactly what I needed at that moment in my life and it really served me well. And I am forever grateful.”

The Oscar winner finalized her divorce from Millepied in February of this year, after more than 10 years together.

Portman and the French choreographer met on the set of the film "Black Swan" in 2009, while the couple split in May of last year after rumors of an extramarital affair by Millepied. Actress Portman filed for divorce in France, while everything was officially finalized earlier this year. Natalie and the French choreographer have two children together, son Aleph and daughter Amalia.
