Disney is working on a sequel to the 2006 hit The Devil Wears Prada.
As for the sequel, the main actors, including director David Frankel, are expected to attend. Aline Brosh McKenna, who adapted the screenplay from Lauren Weisberger's novel, is in talks to write the new screenplay.
The story is said to follow Miranda Priestly, the fashion editor played by Meryl Streep, as she faces the decline of interest in print magazines due to publications in digital spaces.
Her new adversary is former assistant Emily Charlton (played by Emily Blunt in the first film), who now has the power to land lucrative advertising contracts.
Lauren Weisberger worked as an assistant to American Vogue editor Anna Wintour before turning to literature; Miranda Priestly's character is supposedly inspired by her former boss, who is still the editor-in-chief of Vogue.
The main character in the first film, Andy Sachs (played by Anne Hathaway) is so far absent from the cast of the new film.
