Elon Musk confidently says that his investors should not be concerned at all about his regular use of substances, as long as it translates into business benefits.

"What matters is the execution. Tesla is worth as much as the entire car industry put together, so we're good," he told The Don Lemon Show, continuing: "From an investor's point of view, if I'm consuming something I should continue do, because the business is going very well".

Musk revealed to Lemon that he only uses ketamine occasionally when he's in a bad state of mind, but consumes it in small doses consistently, admitting that he's aware that it's not usually a choice.

The billionaire says that ketamine gets him out of a bad mental state and that's why the doctor wrote the prescription. But when it comes to accepting the depression diagnosis, Musk hesitates before expressing this opinion.

Musk added that he has the ability to control himself and when it is necessary to be sober he does it easily, but also, he does not admit that he has used substances other than ketamine.

For those who don't know, ketamine falls under the category of dissociative anesthetics and is used medically for temporary anesthesia. It is given as a prescription drug to treat depression and physical pain. This substance can cause hallucinations and many people who have tried it state that it gives the feeling of separation of the soul from the body. Like all drugs, there are side effects and frequent use creates addiction, but it can also lead to death.
