Keen fans noticed that 5-year-old Prince Louis is missing his middle finger in the family photo , which was released as a Christmas card this weekend.

One commenter said Louis' finger was "amputated" in the "hard editing process". However, there were those who pointed out that Prince Louis may have put his finger in himself.

The classic black-and-white photo was a different version from the usual one that fans and other members of the royal family are used to. In other years, the family portrait photo has been in color and taken somewhere outside in nature, while this year the opposite happened.
