Matthew Perry, before his tragic death, was a very enthusiastic person and looked forward to working on his projects. He was planning to make a biographical film and had chosen the perfect actor to portray young Matthew: Zac Efron.
 
According to Athenna Criosby, the photographer with whom he had dinner shortly before his shocking death, told ET that Perry had many plans for the future, above all, he was working on a biography, where he would recount his life with all its challenges and victories.

 
"He told me that he wanted to make a movie about his life and that he had worked with Zac Efron before, so he wanted this particular actor to play Matthew when he was young and that he would soon ask him about it. He wanted to separate history and addiction rehab, with the goal of helping more people. He was very optimistic and happy about everything he wanted to do," she said.
 
Perry and Efron starred together in the comedy "17 Again" (2009) and Perry played the role of a 37-year-old, while Efron, the 17-year-old version of himself.

 
Matthew Perry passed away at the age of 54. The actor was found dead in his home, in the "Pacific Palisades" neighborhood in Los Angeles today, and it is thought that the cause of death was suffocation.

According to sources, early in the morning, Perry returned home after a game of pickleball and asked the assistant to run an errand for him. Two hours later, the assistant found him in the jacuzzi, unconscious, and called an ambulance.

Perry disappointed fans of the much-loved series "Friends". He played the role of Chandler, a man who had sarcastic jokes. Matthew has often spoken about his difficult life, since 3 years after the debut of the series, he was involved in an accident and started an addiction to painkillers.
