From time to time, Dua Lipa shares with her followers the books she has recently read. During this month's vacation, the singer found time to finish not one, but two books.
The two books are from the brilliant pen of Ismail Kadare: "Three elegies for Kosovo" and "A girl in exile".
The first book, whose original title is "Three mourning songs for Kosovo", consists of three stories, "The Old War", "The Great Lady" and "Royal Prayer", which are about the Battle of Kosovo in 1389 and its consequences.
The next book, with the original title "Hindered, Requiem for Linda B.", is a book about Albanian girls who were born and raised in exile.
According to Kadare, "The book talks about a man who is hindered. Usually in the tradition of world literature the obstacle is created by fate, here is described an obstacle of a new type later than fate, the obstacle of the state. It is dedicated to all Albanian girls who have suffered exile and not one name or another."
