Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are officially divorced, but they still have one big thing keeping them connected: their $60.8 million Beverly Hills supervilla – a property they've been trying to sell for months without success.

Now, according to sources for the Daily Mail, Ben is willing to give up millions more - just to sell it once and for all and finally cut off all ties with his ex-wife.

"Ben and J.Lo dropped the price of the house to $8 million less than he originally paid, but to Ben that's nothing," the source says.

"He just wants to sell it as soon as possible, so he can 'cut the last cord' that connects him to Jennifer."

The source also adds that Ben Affleck "never really wanted this house" and that the purchase was more part of their image as a couple, rather than a personal desire.

"He understands that J.Lo will always be in his life because of the children who are close friends, but this house is the final symbol of their marriage. He just wants them to find a buyer and he doesn't care if he loses a few more millions. The marriage and divorce cost him millions - what's another two million to him?"

Another source close to the actor adds:

"Ben is ready to move on, close this chapter, and focus on the things that really matter. He just wants to live his life – a life that, for the most part, has been lucky. There have been many successes, but with them come some losses."

To put it in context: The couple initially failed to sell the villa for $65 million. Then they listed it for $68 million last summer. In September, a buyer from New Jersey offered $64 million, but the deal fell through, forcing them to lower the price even further — for a potential loss of $855,000.

The house, in addition to its staggering price, is the last symbol of the once "golden" relationship between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who reunited in 2021 after many years of separation and married in 2022. Today, the relationship has ended and it seems the house has become the last obstacle to a new beginning for Ben.
