The video was shot in February, during an event in India, in the city of Dharamshala, but went viral yesterday. People on Twitter have called the act despicable and one called the Dalai Lama a "pedophile".

Although the Dalai Lama is one of the most well-known promoters of Buddhism in the world, his life has been filled with controversy.
