Raheem Sterling, the 27-year-old striker of the English national team, was forced to go directly to London to be near his family, after a group of people raided his home and terrorized his 3 young children.

It is not yet known if any money or valuables were stolen from the home, but this terrifying moment for the striker's family means the 27-year-old may not join the squad in Qatar for the rest of the season.

Sterling has played with Liverpool and Manchester City, is currently part of the Chelsea team and is a very important element for the English team.
