1. Boring people either talk and don't listen or only listen and don't talk.

2. Boring people don't know if the other party is interested in the conversation.

3. Boring people have nothing to say.

4. Boring people always do the same thing. If you meet every evening at the same bar, nothing is happening and therefore nothing is discussed.

5. Boring people have no personal opinions.

6. Boring people don't know how to tell stories.

7. Boring people have nothing new to add.

8. Boring people cannot put themselves in other people's shoes. 

9. Boring people don't engage others in conversation.

10. Boring people don't know how to improvise.

11. Boring people are negative. Either they are victimized, or they blame others.

12. Boring people repeat themselves.

13. Boring people are obsessed with what others think.

14. Boring people want to prove how smart they are. Pretending to be the smartest can attract others' attention, but it can also make you seem unlikable.
