It wasn't just his memorable moves in "Magic Mike" that led Zoe Kravitz to choose Channing Tatum as the lead actor in the upcoming thriller, "Pussy Island," which she will direct. The young actress and director, in an interview with WSJ, talked about what attracted her to Tatum not only for the role, but also romantically.

She said she needed an actor for the role who hadn't been in a "dark" role before. Then he added:
"I felt, even from afar, before I knew him, that he was a feminist and that he wasn't afraid to explore that darkness that I was looking for, because he knows that it's not," Kravitz said. "That's why I I was attracted to him and wanted to meet him. And I was right."
Kravitz says it's exciting for him to see him step away from the roles he's comfortable in and where audiences are used to seeing him.

Maybe we're not as excited as Zoe, but we're also very curious to see Channing Tatum in a movie other than Magic Mike, Step Up, or 21 Jump Street.
