A $ AP Rocky was stopped by police at Los Angeles airport on Wednesday, accused of having links to the November 2021 attack. 

The rapper was arrested on a charge of "assault with a deadly weapon (firearm)" in connection with the shooting in Hollywood last fall, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement on Twitter. He was released hours later after paying a $ 550,000 bail.

On the evening of November 6, two celebrities were debating in the Hollywood area of ??Los Angeles. The debate escalated and it turned out that the suspect fired at the victim. The victim suffered a minor injury from the incident and later sought medical treatment. After the shooting, the suspect and two other men reportedly fled the area on foot.

Authorities say the suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Rakim Mayers, otherwise known as A $ AP Rocky.

At the time of his arrest, the rapper was returning to California from Barbados, where he was on vacation. Even a few days ago, the rapper was at the top of every news portal, after a rumor that he had betrayed Rihanna with Romanian designer, Amina Muadi. The rumors were refuted by the latter. Rocky and Rihanna are expecting to become parents of a baby for the first time.
