Travis Scott gives the first interview since the Astroworld tragedy

Travis Scott said he did not notice participants in his concert were asking for help, during the first interview since the deadly crowd incidents at Astroworld that left 10 fans dead and hundreds injured.

"I just experienced a lot of thoughts, a lot of feelings, a lot of sadness," he said.

During an interview with Charlamagne said God, the host of the Breakfast Club radio show, Scott appeared serious and sad. He said he was unaware until a post-concert press conference was held.

"People lose their senses, things happen at concerts - but something like that?" said he affected.

When Charlamagne cited witness claims at the concert, according to which people prayed for help, the rapper said he would have stopped the performance if he had been aware. The rapper said his attention was influenced by music, lights and pyrotechnic elements of the performance.

Scott has been considered a defendant in more than 200 lawsuits, many of which citing him for "negligence" and "incitement to violence." A Houston-based law firm representing more than 1,500 concert members is seeking $ 10 billion in damages.

Scott dismissed the idea that he was attending the interview to drop the lawsuits. Representatives of the rapper have acquitted him of legal responsibility.
