Tragedy in shooting: Famous actor kills director of photography and injures

Renowned actor Alec Baldwin became part of a tragedy while shooting for his new film, "Rust". Baldwin, accidentally shot with the weapon that was supposed to be used for the scene, leaving the director of photography dead and injuring the film director. 

According to Santa Fe authorities, Baldwin who plays and is also the producer of the film, fired the gun causing an incident that ended fatally. 

Authorities confirm that both 42-year-old director of photography Halyna Hutchins and director Joel Souza, 48, were shot by actor Alec Baldwin.

"Hutchins was immediately airlifted to a Mexican hospital, where he died shortly after arriving, while the director received first aid from an ambulance and is currently under their care. Investigations remain open," authorities told The Guardian.

From the first data, it is said that the actor went with full will to talk to the investigators and was seen shocked after the event.

The weapon was supposed to be used when it was empty, but investigators are still looking for details that will lead them to the cause of the accident.

Filming of "Rust" was expected to continue until early November. The film tells the story of a 13-year-old boy who after the death of his parents has to take care of himself and his brother. The teenager escapes with his grandfather (who had been away for years) after being convicted of the accidental murder of a local farmer.
