The match between the Albanian and Polish football teams was accompanied by violent incidents almost at the end of the match, after the goal scored by Karol Weiderski.
Immediately after the speech, Albanian fans present at the "Air Albania" stadium threw plastic bottles near the Polish football players, causing the game to be interrupted for several minutes.
Through an official reaction, FIFA condemns the violence displayed during the qualifying match for the World Cup.
"FIFA strongly condemns the incidents in the England-Hungary and Albania-Poland matches and would like to declare that this stance is determined to reject any form of violence, as well as any kind of discrimination or abuse," the statement said (via Euronews ).
FIFA, the international governing body of football associations, said it was "currently analyzing reports of World Cup qualifiers in order to determine the most appropriate action."
