Most sex movies or TV shows are based on books. We mention here "Bridgerton", "50 Shades of Gray", "365 Days" etc. Even "Sex / Life", the latest erotic series on Netflix is ??no different, except for the fact that the latter is not fictional.
Unbridled sex fantasies are recreations from BB Easton's novel, "44 Chapters About 4 Men". This novel, written in the form of a diary, follows a school psychologist and mother of two who begins to write her deepest and darkest sexual fantasies after her husband, "beautiful but boring" does not satisfy her. She takes the reader on a dark journey into her ex-boyfriend, before meeting her husband.
Speaking to Oprah Daily, Easton said the diary she wanted for an exciting sex life helped her with her midlife crisis.
"All of this helped me create a bridge between my current life and the girl I once was. I was living life in the present, but I was writing about all these fun experiences and it helped me feel like the same person I once was."
Based on this real experience (a woman somewhat torn between what she is now and what she was), "Sex / Life" has also been created, focusing on one of her ex-boyfriends. In the novel, in addition to the "bad motorcyclist boy", other ex-partners are also mentioned, which is making readers think that the series will have a second and maybe even a third season.
However, the series has some fundamental changes from the novel, but in order not to reveal too much to you from the series, we are not writing any longer. However, the author of the novel advises "not to manipulate partners, but to communicate with them".
