Lana Del Rey thinks Donald Trump is simply "a reflection of the biggest problem our world has."
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, the singer, when asked how she coped with 2020, said she had always thought that something like this pandemic would happen soon.
"I'm very fatalistic. I'm scared fast, so I thought something like this would happen."
The singer during her statement also spoke about the current political situation in the US, calling "Trump's madness" necessary to happen.
"His madness, no matter how bad it is, had to happen. We needed a reflection of the world's biggest problem, which I don't think is climate change, but narcissism and sociopathy. Especially in America, this problem will kill him." It's not capitalism, it's narcissism.I was surprised we didn't have a psychopathic and crazy TV personality long ago because that's what we see on TV and Instagram all the time. Many "bloggers" obsessed with themselves ... I'm not saying that there are no people who are delightful, or who really learn something and influence your life. "
Del Rey added that in addition to the horrific death toll, the pandemic and recent events have been a wake-up call.
"Life is not the kind of shoes you buy, it's not studying at Harvard or Oxford, it's the kind of person you are," she continued.
As for the recent event at the Capitol, Lana said that Trump did not even know what he was inciting with his words because he suffers from the delirium of greatness.
However, after that incident with tragic consequences, according to her, people will be clearer about what will happen next.
