In an interview this morning (January 21) on "Wake Up", Ermal Mamaqi said that his second film, "I love Tropoja" has cost almost three times as much as "Two Honey Fingers".
Mamaqi, producer and actor of "I love Tropoja", stressed that "the costs are relatively high" for an independent film, which is not supported by the Albanian Cinema Center.
"The costs are relatively high and I think it's a great investment for a movie of this genre, a standalone film that doesn't have the support of the Center or the state, but depends only on the finances generated by the film's supporters, are the sponsors. ?
So far, the producer's second film has cost more than 700,000 euros.
?The film has cost over 700,000 euros so far because it is a project that has a team from Kosovo and Turkey and the equipment and technology is state-of-the-art. I can only say that the lenses used in this film are the same lenses used for 'Fast & Furious 8'. ?
Among other things, Mamaqi added that his second film is an attempt to promote Tropoja and the picturesque sites of the area, as well as to say another image of the Tropoja , unlike portrayal as " Marco from Tropoja " in the film "Taken" ".
