The Pussycat Dolls reunion performance on Sunday night in the special edition of "The X Factor: Celebrity" was met with not-so-good reactions from viewers who seemed unprepared.
The famous pop band - made up of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta - drew attention with extravagant outfits.
Viewers thought it was a startling performance, especially for the kids at home watching the spectacle on a primetime schedule.
?The Pussycat Dolls' outfits on 'The X Factor: Celebrity' are totally inappropriate for 8:15 pm, in a spectacle attended by the whole family. You don't have to take off your clothes to be successful, ?someone wrote on Twitter.
Another said: "This was an absolutely embarrassing spectacle of Pussycat Dolls, pre-ether."
St.Washershed - refers to a period of time when television channels are allowed to broadcast more adult programming. In the UK, it is allowed after 9pm.
However, others argued that the band did nothing wrong and that the parents should be prepared, knowing their story and previous performances.
?Pussycat Dolls are not Little Mix. They are not for children. Don't bring the kids to their shows, ?someone wrote on Twitter.
As for their reunion tour, it kicks off in April 2020. Will it be Nicole?
Yes, she will join Carmi, Ashley, Jessica and Kimberly. In September this year, A source close to the group said, "Nicole has refused to rejoin the group dozens of times, but the tenth anniversary finally said yes." Nicole made a multi-million dollar deal to reunite and took on hand a considerable amount of money, which made it almost impossible to reject the proposal.
During the summer, Nicole Scherzinger felt nostalgic for being part of the Pussycat Dolls. ?I miss tournaments. So I would like to return one day. When it came to solo careers, I enjoyed spending time with the dancers, but I missed the oysters. I would like to come back and enjoy it all together, ?she said.
Why did the Pussycat Dolls split?
In 2009, the group disbanded after two members Kimberly and Ashley both left one after another in one day. Kimberly said at the time that the group was in a bad moment. "I think happiness is the most important thing in life and I think happiness was no longer within the group." Ashley, on the other hand, admitted in 2012 that the girls left because of a lack of attention. ?I was not allowed to speak. Only Nicole was allowed. ?
However, in April 2020, the Pussycat Dolls will launch the Dublin Reunion Tour, which ends in London two weeks later.
