If you want to drive an electric car and protect the environment, Albania is the ideal place. A study published years ago, declares our country the best for electric cars as it generates all electricity from hydropower plants. So when charging an electric car, it is charged from a renewable energy source.

This study points out that using an electric car like Tesla or similar brands does not do the environment right away. Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, has been a fan of electric cars for 25 years, but he accompanies this passion with projects that focus on solar panels; an attempt to push the world towards the use of renewable energy sources.

The study found that while a petrol-driven car travels 52 km for about three liters of gasoline, an electric car in Albania travels about 8000 kilometers for the equivalent of three liters of gasoline.

If you're worried about charging for Tesla cars, Elon Musk plans to have Superchargers across Europe by 2019, known as charging stations. However, we are at the end of the year and have noticed nothing on the ground and on Tesla's official website, no installation of these stations is planned in the future.
