Alvin Berisha was rescued from the Al-Hol camp two days ago and today we have more information about the whereabouts of the 11-year-old Albanian.
Albanian.com learns that Alvin left camp four days ago and arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus, yesterday.
Three days out of camp he stayed in a safe house in Qamishli, a village in northern Syria. Today, if no obstacles arise, Alvin will be escorted from the Red Cross to Beirut, Lebanon, and then to Italy, where he will join his father and two sisters.
The operation is being carried out by the Syrian Red Crescent and the International Red Cross.
