The High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets and Interests published the statements of assets of all officials who are obliged to make public the assets and income. According to the Albanian Gazette, the list is headed by two names, one from the Socialist Party and one from the Democrats. It is Adnor Shameti and Agron Shehaj respectively. The latter has already submitted the mandate.

The common name of the two richest names in the Assembly is that both were rich and successful before engaging in politics.

Agron Shehaj was elected MP for the first time in 2017. He is one of the most successful businessmen in Albania, but also in Italy. Shehaj stated that a bank account in Italy was added to 265,855 euros. Also, he declared a bank account worth 7,066,869 euros which was added to 2,850,813 euros only during 2018. Adnor Shameti, also a new MP in the Assembly, also comes from the business field. Through 2018, Shameti declared the sale of two apartments and some bank accounts worth 345,929 euros, 868,929 euros, 100,000 euros and 2,000,000 lekë cash.
