After 2 years of absence, the legendary rapper from Kosovo, Rebel aka Unikkatil, has turned strongly into Albanian music. With tickets ranging from 15 to up to 200 euros, he held a concert yesterday at the "Niko Dovana" stadium in Durres.
The performance started under the performance of the newest Albanian music repertoire, part of The Bloody Alboz, a group founded by Unikkatil (Viktor Paloka) - Don Phenom. The boy from Shkodra who started his career with the underground repin in New York, sparked the scene to leave the country to the other members of the group.
Shortly before midnight, around 11 am, on the scene comes Unikkatil, who performed some of his hits over the years. As you can see in the following videos, many fans coming from all the cities of Albania and Kosovo, but not only, chanted old and new songs in the choir.
"You did not come to me, I came to you," he told the audience at the stadium.
This was the first concert of Unikkatili in Albania. In fact, it is the third concert organized in such proportions. The first was held in Pristina in 2012 where they were present somewhere in the 25,000 fans. At that time, also associated with the fact that tickets ranged up to 100 euros, was rated as the biggest concert ever performed by an Albanian artist.
The second, held in April this year in Switzerland, whose tickets were sold in record time.
Soon before, Unikkatil became part of the Top Music Awards list with the song "Ni Milion Street", where he was ranked in Top 100 most beautiful Albanian modern music songs recently. Right away, thanks to public votes, he was ranked 30th. However, according to Top Channel, the artist passed 29 positions and his free video clip was ranked first.
Since then, "No Million Paths" always stands at the top of the week's rating and has gathered more votes from the 2018 summer hit poll, though post-release and video-posting.
When it comes to video clips, without which we can hardly think of songs today, Unikkatili should have no good relationship with them. No song has been released with a video clip though the projects enjoy millions of clicks. Even in his first collaboration with a repertoire outside the "TBA" group, in the song "Kryt Nalt" with 2po2, he was sure not to go to the video clip.
Yesterday's concert ended shortly after midnight under the screams of fans filling the stadium.
