Violent protests continue across America for the sixth day in a row as an uprising to assassinate African-American George Floyd.
Circulation patrols have been deployed in almost 40 countries, but people have ignored them by violently confronting the authorities.
In New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles police officers have been forced to throw tear gas and other substances to disperse the angry crowd. The latter burned the vehicles of the police forces and the shops around them.
The National Guard - the United States' emergency military reserve - said yesterday that 5,000 of its personnel had been deployed in 15 states and in Washington DC, where the angry crowd protested in front of the White House.
The 44-year-old former police officer who killed George Floyd has been arrested and is expected to appear in court today. On May 25, notorious police officer Derek Chauvin held his leg for eight minutes on George's neck, blocking his breathing despite the victim's calls to save him.
