Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have split after 19 years of marriage and 20 years of dating, multiple media sources have confirmed. The couple, who have two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, have reportedly been living in separate homes since the beginning of the summer.
According to E!News, Kidman has applied for residency in Portugal without including her husband's name on the form, which has further increased speculation about an imminent separation.
The two were last seen together in public at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup last June. That same month, Kidman posted a sweet message on their 19th wedding anniversary, without hinting at any problems in the relationship.
Kidman and Urban met in January 2005. The actress has previously revealed:
"I fell madly in love with him, but he wasn't interested. That's the truth! It took him four months to call me."
In a 2020 interview, Urban spoke fondly of Kidman:
"She was everything I had been looking for my whole life. Everything changed, but I had to change too if I wanted to keep this connection."
However, according to the latest reports, the decision to split came from Urban. Sources close to the couple say that Kidman has been trying to save the marriage, especially after her husband moved to another house in the same city while she continued to take care of their daughters.
