Justin and Hailey Bieber have hired lawyers against a TikTok user who claimed they have an "abusive marriage." She alleged the singer's "drug addiction" was the cause.

The couple's lawyer, Evan Spiegel, sent Julie Theis (the aforementioned user) a "cease and desist" letter, claiming that she "made up" the story about their marriage, according to TMZ.

In the letter obtained by the media, the lawyer writes that she has spread "scandalous, false, fabricated and defamatory statements" on TikTok, which she created and distributed herself.

According to him, she slandered his clients and their marriage, and all this information was then widely disseminated.

He emphasizes that Julie Theis' behavior is "unfair, deeply damaging, legally punishable and exposes her to serious legal liabilities."

Among other things, he demanded that she immediately remove the videos and stop publishing other allegations of abuse in this relationship. If she does not do this, he said that the Bieber couple will have no choice but to take further legal action.

The influencer then reacted on social media, saying that the letter was intended to scare her.

She published the full letter that was sent to her and returned attention to the original videos, saying that she had simply expressed an opinion, which she believes she has the legal right to do.

"Being offended by the opinions of others does not give you the right to silence people," she said, calling the letter a "caprice of the rich."

The drama between the Biebers and Julian Theis began after the latter claimed in a video that Hailey is a wife who tolerates "abuse" in her marriage.

Hailey was later accused of reposting that video on her social media, but she denied these claims.

"I know you guys who live online are very upset, but I have not reshared any videos that talk about my relationship. Have a beautiful Saturday," she said in an Instagram story.
