Madonna's relatives fear the Queen of Pop "made herself sick" and was hospitalized for days because she tried to compete with younger stars such as Taylor Swift and Pink.
The 64-year-old legend appears to have pushed himself to exercise beyond physical capacity for his much-anticipated Celebration tour, sources told The Sun.
"She was working overtime, but she was clearly tired and the people around her were politely reminding her that she is no longer 45, let alone 25," the source said.
"She needed to go at her own pace. Pushing himself that far was extremely dangerous.”
Both Taylor Swift and Pink, respectively 33 and 43 years old, have started their concerts recently, characterized by many details: Taylor stands out for the entertainment show for 4 hours, while Pink amazes the audience by giving a spectacle in the air.
To compete, Madonna forced herself to spend hours in grueling rehearsals, which slowly took a toll on her body.
