Now official: Dua Lipa has said "YES" and seems super enthusiastic about marriage ♡

Dua Lipa has officially confirmed her engagement to British actor Callum Turner, and yes, according to her words – she is super happy!

In a recent interview with British Vogue, the 29-year-old singer revealed the beautiful news, saying simply and without much fanfare:

"Yes, we are engaged. It's very exciting."

Their romance first began to be rumored in January 2024, when the two were spotted dancing at a party in London. And although they have kept their relationship very private throughout the year, they have been together at many events - from romantic dinners in New York, to the 2025 Met Gala, where they appeared on the red carpet for the first time as a couple.

Meanwhile, engagement rumors began earlier, on Christmas Eve 2024, when Dua posted a photo on Instagram of a diamond ring on her engagement finger. Although she didn't comment at the time, fans (and the media) didn't miss the detail. At Paris Fashion Week, she even tried to hide her hand under a dramatic cape, but photographers wouldn't let her pass them by — and the ring was caught in one of the photos.

Now, with the official news, Dua has also shared some sweet details about her ring:

"I'm obsessed with it. It's so 'me'. It's a beautiful feeling to know that the person you're going to spend your life with knows you so well," she said, revealing that Callum had collaborated with her sister and closest friends to design it.

As for marriage, don't expect anything anytime soon. At the moment, there are no concrete plans:

"I want to finish my tour, Callum is filming, so we're enjoying this period," said Dua.

"I've never been the kind of girl who dreamed of a wedding, but now I'm suddenly thinking: 'Hmm, what would I wear?'"

In the interview, she also touched on the emotional weight of this step:

"I didn't fully understand what it meant to get engaged until it happened to me. Making a decision to grow old with someone, to spend your life with your best friend... it's a very special feeling."

The couple went public with their relationship in July 2024, when Dua posted two photos with Callum from the Glastonbury Festival. In one photo, he was kissing her on the head, in another, they were lying down and talking like two teenagers in love. Then came the New Year's kiss photo.
