The documentary "Framing Britney Spears" brought to attention among others some of Justin Timberlake's actions in the past, including the infamous performance in the Super Bowl 2004, where Justin pulled Janet Jackson's dress revealing her breasts. A carelessness? Problem with clothing? Or something else?
In an interview with Page Six, the stylist who took care of Janet's appearance, Wayne Scot Lucas, said that what appeared to be a "wardrobe malfunction" was in fact a deliberate attempt by Justin to overcome the fuss of Britney Spears. Madonna and Christina Aguilera.

At the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, music divas exchanged kisses with each other, one of the highlights of the evening. Scot Lucas told Page Six that the original concept was for Janet to appear wearing a pair of pearl thongs inspired by Kim Cattrall on "Sex and the City".
"Janet would show up in a Rocha dress and [Justin] would step on the back of her dress to reveal her buttocks and pearl thongs. But the dress changed two days ago and you saw the magic. ”
In the end, Justin pulled Janet outfits and exposed her breasts. He labeled the incident a "wardrobe malfunction".
"I would not call it a 'wardrobe malfunction' in a million years. It was the most functional wardrobe in history. "As a stylist, he did what he had to do," he added.

"I especially want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson because I care about them and I respect these women and I know I failed. I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and more. "Importantly, this is a long topic and I want to be a part of it and grow."
After Justin's apology, a sudden surprise happened to Janet . Her 1986 album "Control" topped the charts.
