Sofia Vergara, who, unbelievably, is a natural blonde, shared a photo from the past on Instagram and looks completely different with darker hair.
In the photo album, the actress appears sitting in front of a piano, with black hair, wearing a bright green, loose dress and heels.

It's not known exactly when the photos were taken, but in a 2024 interview with People magazine, the "Modern Family" star revealed that she is a natural blonde and admitted that dyeing her hair brown to get roles early in her career was "a sacrifice that was worth it."
“After all, it was just hair,” she said. “It’s not like I was cutting off my fingers.”
After moving to the United States from her native Colombia in her early thirties, Vergara said that "her appearance was not what Hollywood usually associated with Latin women."
"They were expecting a woman with darker hair. It was difficult, because they were a little confused: 'This woman sounds Latina, but she's blonde,'" she explained.
"I decided to change my hair color to dark and that's how I started working," she continued, adding that this "changed her life, because she got hired on the series 'Modern Family,' where she worked for 11 years."
After the third season of the highly successful series, she started dyeing her hair blonde again "little by little, and everything went well," she said.
Vergara has been open about her hair over the years, telling Fashion magazine that she's "never had really short hair" because "she doesn't think it would suit her," though she admits that "it would be fun to try." She also added that "cutting bangs is always something I regret."
She has also revealed that her hair inspiration is Sophia Loren: "she had the most glamorous hair," Vergara explained, and that as a child, her blonde locks would bleach even more from life by the sea. Although she said she is "a master at face makeup," when it comes to hair, she "leaves it to the professionals," she admitted.
