Sweat in the chest area is most likely to form on hot days, but dr. Soma Mandal says sweating can occur whenever the skin wrinkles or folds.
"The skin under the breasts is not exposed to air and this is one reason why moisture tends to accumulate in that area."
Thankfully, there are some things you can do to alleviate this little "annoyance".
- Avoid any recipes that have synthetic material such as polyester or very thick materials. In the heat, cotton clothing is recommended as it allows the skin to air out better. Also, it is not suggested to use wire or padding recipes as they tend to make sweating worse. Another option remains of course, not to keep recipes at all.
- If the sweating condition has become problematic for you, talk to a doctor, who will most likely give you a type of medicine that is usually applied under the armpits to control excessive sweating. This medicine is also found in cream form.
- Use baby powder, antiperspirant and shower regularly, accompanied by exfoliation and hydration of the skin.
