So far, 33 people have been confirmed to have coronavirus infection in our country, but how is the condition of the infected reported?
Deputy Health Minister Mira Rakacholi said that so far the condition of the first three affected patients has improved significantly. Many patients are self-isolating at home and controlled by the health system through a family doctor.
The eight patients hospitalized at the infectious hospital in the capital are currently in good health. The other 25 are self-insulated in their homes.
None of the infected so far has shown the need to undergo intensive treatment.
Of the confirmed positive cases, there are 19 cases in Tirana, 5 in Durres (one of which has died), 1 in Lushnje, 2 in Elbasan, 4 in Fier, 2 in Rrogozhina.
Public Health Specialist Silva Bino stressed that only those cases that need to be tested and that present symptoms of the virus are being tested, and not everyone who claims to be affected without concern.
