For almost a month now, Albanian pupils and students have been learning from home. Despite the difficulties, according to the Minister of Education, Besa Shahini, most of the students have taken online lectures and lessons, making it difficult for them to return to school.
One of the biggest dilemmas of online learning has been the way of assessment. How will students be assessed from home? During her last communication, Shahini said that so far, the assessment made is simply orienting.
"Assessment at home is an orientation assessment. So it is not a formal final grade. Formal and final grades are set when we return to school. The student is asked and tested again by the teachers for the lectures that have taken place at this time or that have taken place before. "
As for the Matura exams, Shahini said that they will not be postponed, but their formulation will not include any of the lessons that have not been conducted online.
