Every June since 2014, Google searches on the question of whether we can wear white dresses when invited to a wedding increase by an average of 46%. But Lana does not have these dilemmas.
Over the weekend, Lana Del Rey wore a white and pink dress to the wedding of actress Margaret Qualley and the singer's music producer, Jack Antonoff.
As you can see, Lana wore a white halter neck dress with lace trim and a sweater over it. She teamed the dress with platform slippers and a Prada Re-Edition 2005 bag.
"I love you Lana, but you can't go to a wedding dressed like this," someone said. "She doesn't kill the brain at all, I love her," added another.
Lana Del Rey has long displayed her unique approach to fashion. In 2020, she made headlines when she bought her Grammy outfit at the last minute at a mall.
On the Variety Hitmakers 2021 red carpet, she wore an $18 dress from fast fashion brand Shein.
In other words, the wedding dress doesn't show that she doesn't respect her friends, but she's just not someone who prioritizes fashion.
