As previously announced by Minister Ogerta Manastirliu, bars and restaurants are expected to open on May 18. Today, the e-Albania portal has published the protocol that such businesses should follow as protection measures against pandemics.
The guidelines contain strict measures for both customers and employees and any other link in this business.
As you can read below, the staff of bars / restaurants will have very little contact with customers, while it is strictly forbidden to touch the nose, mouth, or eyes after touching items or money taken from customers.
Employees must self-assess the signs of coronavirus and are required to tell about the history of contact with infected people. As of May 18, local officials have a duty to verify the symptoms of all employees.
Also, according to the temporary instructions published by e-albania, all persons with a temperature above 37.5 will be prohibited from entering the premises of the premises.
No more than one customer will be allowed inside, while outside customers must respect the distance. Customers will be advised to pay by card, to avoid contact through money.
Bars and restaurants must place mandatory safety distance signs for customers waiting in line.
