Ronela Hajati has posted a post on her Instagram story, where more than angry, she seems tired and disappointed by people's offensive words and comments towards her:
"How many times do I feel like writing, venting, and how many other times do I remember when I did it and everything fell on deaf ears.
Sometimes I feel so stuck in the same cycle, which becomes even more suffocating with 100 responsibilities that are added daily; with a job that has sunk the eyes of passion and love for music into a toxic pit of dirty, but equally worthless comments at the same time, while you have to sing and make happy those people who most would mutter under their breath: 'Who has this?', 'Why is this done like this?', 'Operations', 'Cow', 'What do you think of yourself?'."
She continued by expressing her hurt by the insensitivity of others' words, recalling the cases in which she was given the opportunity to leave Albania, but did not:
"Meanwhile, you may have tears in your eyes, because you have bills on your back, family on your back, children waiting for you, a love you no longer have, parents who have their hopes in you, sick parents, men's work that we have done for 20 years without anyone's support.
And sometimes, in this country, even though I'm not like everyone else, it's given me hundreds and thousands of reasons to leave and I didn't... the question continues to pain me: Why are we so wicked, so often?"
In the end, Ronela closed with disappointment:
"And if today we should be thankful, besides health, we are made to thank God for having a good heart."
