
Robert De Niro admits that he feels very happy to have become a father again at the age of 80. The "Goodfellas" star became a father to Gia last year with girlfriend Tiffany Chen, and in an interview with AARP magazine, he got emotional when he talked about his daughter.
"Everything that bothers me and worries me goes away as soon as I see him," said the actor. "It's wonderful," he added.
De Niro emphasized the fact that he is not so sure what his daughter will become when she grows up, nor is he convinced if he will be able to see her from old age, but despite this, he is determined to enjoy the present.

"He has a very sweet way of seeing you, how he pays attention to you, watches over you and protects you," Robert began to say as he burst into tears.
Chen, 45, gave birth to a daughter on April 6, 2023, but De Niro didn't reveal her arrival until a month later when a reporter asked him about the six children and he corrected her by pointing out : There are already 7.

The couple met in 2015 on the set of "The Intern" and were spotted in Spain together the following year.
A few years later, the martial arts instructor and De Niro were photographed celebrating his 78th birthday in France.
De Niro is also the father of: Drena (52), Raphael (47), twins Aaron and Julian (28), Elliot (26) and Helen (12).
