The government has made the next decision for students who lost their family members in the November 26 tragedy. All students in Durres, Tirana and Lezha who lost their relatives will receive a scholarship of 15,000 ALL per month.
The decision is official and comes within the package of aid the government has approved for people affected by the earthquake, such as immediate housing or special pensions.
The scholarship will benefit students attending higher education in public universities for the 2019-2020 academic year who lost family members in the earthquake last Tuesday (November 26).
In this case, they will benefit ALL 5,000 more than other young people pursuing higher education. Those involved in identifying these students will be the universities themselves, which will then submit the approval lists to the ministry responsible for education.
On the other hand, the government has announced that it has been communicating with the families of the 51 victims of the November 26 earthquake to specifically discuss the steps to be taken for housing recovery, housing and pensions.
