Why do men get engaged or marry in a hurry after a painful breakup?

What makes men jump into the arms of another woman almost immediately after a breakup? It's fair to say that he wasn't too keen on the relationship and didn't have genuine feelings about the previous relationship, so he decided to look for something more fulfilling. However, these ideas are wrong.

In a relationship, men connect emotionally just as much as women, whether they show it or not. When it all comes to an end, they are left with a huge emotional void and unlike women, they have nowhere to turn to vent and understand the sadness and pain they feel. They can't cry to friends, mothers or spend nights watching "crying" movies and eating ice cream.

Men could do these things, but stereotypes have been ingrained in them that stoicism, staying strong, being a man, are the only things acceptable to society. On the contrary, a man who cries and complains to his friends about the separation becomes an object of ridicule and pity.

What should a man do in such cases? He is hurt, but there is no one to tell him. Suffering in solitude means downing one bottle of alcohol after another. Therefore, he realizes that the only way to stop the explosion of emotions is to suppress them with a new relationship.

Thus, he focuses all his emotional and sexual attention on another woman. The sooner the woman in question lets him slip into his permanent manly, emotionless state, the better.
