After 20 years, the famous film with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis will have a sequel, officially titled "Freakier Friday". Both actresses will return for their iconic roles of body-swapping mother and daughter. The film will be released in theaters on August 8, 2025, according to Disney.

The film will follow Anna (Lohan), who now has a 14-year-old daughter, Harper, and will involve more body-swapping mayhem. This time, Anna and Tess won't be swapping bodies with each other, but with teenage girls, Harper and Lily.
The film promises to bring the same humor and magic that made the original film famous, but with a new twist that embraces the new generation.
