Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry appear to have officially confirmed their split, after months of speculation that intensified after the actor appeared alone at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding in Venice. However, a recent photo on Bloom's Instagram seems to suggest an improvement in their relationship, or perhaps a friendly and healthy one, especially for the sake of the children.

A few days after Bezos and Sánchez's lavish wedding, Bloom posted a series of photos on Instagram from their family vacation on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, where he appeared happy with his 4-year-old daughter, Daisy, from his relationship with Katy Perry, and his 14-year-old son, Flynn, from his previous relationship with Miranda Kerr. In one of the photos, they are all smiling together on a boat, giving the impression that everything between them is calm and drama-free.
Bloom and Perry's relationship began in 2016, after they were spotted together at a Golden Globes after-party. After a brief breakup in 2017, they got back together and got engaged on Valentine's Day 2019. Their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, was born in 2020.
The news of the separation was confirmed through a joint statement from the couple's representatives, which was published a few days ago:
"Due to the increased public interest and ongoing discussions surrounding their relationship, representatives confirm that Katy and Orlando have changed the nature of their relationship in recent months, focusing on co-parenting their daughter."
