Chances are that at some point in your life, your parents will tell you they want a grandchild or niece, but at least hope you do not end up in court. An Indian couple have sued their son asking him and his wife to have a child within a year or pay them nearly $ 650,000.
Sanjeev and Sadhana Prasad say they ran out of savings by raising and educating their pilot son and paying for his luxury wedding, the Guardian reports. The pay they want is clear.
"The boy has been married for six years, but they are still not planning a child," the couple said in the lawsuit filed in court in Haridwar last week. "At least if we have a grandson to spend time with, our pain will become bearable."

The compensation they demand is 50 million rupees (646,000 dollars; about 75,000,000 lek) and includes: the cost of the wedding in a five-star hotel, a luxury car, the payment for the couple's honeymoon. They also spent $ 65,000 to train the boy as a pilot in the US, but he returned unemployed to India, according to the Times of India.
"We also had to take out a loan to build the house and now we are going through a lot of financial difficulties," said the couple. "Even mentally we are quite worried because we live alone."
