After 10 weeks of competition, (Albania Designers Competition) announced the winner of the first edition! Among the three finalists, the one who grabbed the first prize was Alberta Sejdiu, a 23-year-old from Kosovo who stood out for her exquisite taste in the early weeks of the show.
Her talent in design became even clearer after winning the styling competition of the era, where Alberta was presented with a Coco Chanel inspired outfit.
This was the first edition of its kind in our country and it must be said that the whole realization has been a success. "ADC" is apparently the format inspired by "Project Runaway" originally launched by Heidi Klum, to be further directed by Karlie Kloss.
Apart from the same concept, Albania Designers Competition is an adaptation of "Project Runway" for the Albanian public, ranging from the details (white headless mannequin) to the fact that the moderator is given the opportunity to judge competitors.
The only difference is that both Heidi and Karlie are famous models and very much associated with the fashion industry in general, and on the other hand, Bora Zemani has never been mentioned for any particular connection to the fashion world.
However, over the course of 10 weeks the spectacle was well done as it was seen that all the aspiring young people to be future designers brought very interesting feeds. This is reinforced by the numerous reactions on YouTube, which shows that Albanians are not interested in a format of this kind.
The proposal for an ADC on the Tring platform came from stylist Ardi Asllani, who oversaw the work of competing stylists week after week in collaboration with a panel of juries composed of Jonida Maliqi, Joni Peci and Bora Zemani.
