Britney Spears' family is extremely worried about her after a video showed the singer driving dangerously during a night out with a friend.
According to the Daily Mail, her relatives are "terrified" that Britney is losing control and that her behavior is reminiscent of moments from 2007, when she had her famous public meltdown, where she shaved her head and lost custody of her sons with Kevin Federline.

Sources close to the family said urgent talks are underway about how to help the singer. Some have even suggested that Britney be placed back under legal guardianship, as she once was, although that would be a highly controversial move, as her conservatorship ended in 2021 after huge pressure from fans as part of the #FreeBritney movement.

A source told the Daily Mail:
"There's a lot of concern. Everyone has always wanted the best for her, but now she's making the wrong choices. It's scary. We're discussing what to do, if anything should be done, and how to protect her from herself."

Her relatives compare the situation to the period when her father, Jamie Spears, intervened to place her under legal guardianship.
"The last time Jamie stepped in to protect her, people turned him into a public enemy. They said he was after her money, which is not true. So now the question is, should someone step in again, even though they know what the reaction will be?"
Recent photos released by Page Six show Britney, 43, in her black BMW, performing dangerous maneuvers at night in California. In the video, she is seen making a sharp turn, with tires screeching, and at several points crossing into the bike lane or across the center line of the road.

According to sources, Britney had dinner at the restaurant with a friend, and although those present seemed to be trying to convince her not to get behind the wheel, she decided to drive the car herself.
This event comes amid the fierce clashes that she is experiencing with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who has published his book "You Thought You Knew", full of serious accusations against her.
In the book, he claims that Britney used cocaine while breastfeeding their sons, Sean Preston, now 20, and Jayden James, 19, and that at times she expressed the wish that they were no longer alive.

Spears has responded through her representative, saying that Federline and others are "taking advantage of her" now that the custody payments have ended.
"The only thing she's concerned about is the well-being of her children, amidst all this sensationalism," the representative said.

In a recent Instagram post, Britney revealed that she still feels the psychological effects of her years of foster care:
"I feel like my arms have been taken away. I suffered brain damage a long time ago, 100 percent. But I got through that period and I'm lucky to be alive," she wrote.
