Pamela Anderson was one of the most iconic Playboy models of the 90s.
But in recent years, the Baywatch star, 57, has left behind her role as one of the biggest sex symbols of the 90s and revealed details about her routine.
While she is close to 60, she continues to amaze her fans with appearances on the red carpet. She has revealed to The Times the secrets to maintaining her natural beauty.
Pamela writes her goals for the day in her journal before leaving the house before sunrise to connect with nature.
She said she walks three to six km a day, reads and watches old movies in her spare time.
When she is not reading, she says she occupies her time by cooking in the kitchen of her idyllic home on Vancouver Island, which she considers to be the place where she regenerates her energies.
It's also where she worked on her vegan cookbook, which focuses on her passion for slow cooking processes, including pickling and fermentation.
Among other things, she also spoke about the image she created, saying that at one point the relationship with the beauty became unhealthy.
"I don't want to be a sex symbol," Anderson said. "I spent too many years presenting myself as an object of desire for others. Now I want to be someone who is respected for their achievements, for their passion and for what I have achieved as an individual, and not for my body."
Pamela calls her Playboy image a 'cartoon character' and not her real self.
The icon - who recently shared the exciting story behind her upcoming cookbook - also opened up about leaving Hollywood and stepping away from her sex symbol "status" to Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
She has adopted more of a makeup-free lifestyle in recent years, admitting that switching to her natural look was a conscious decision.
"That was the beginning of me leaving behind the image I had always had of myself. Who is this cartoon character I created? OK, that was fun. But I'm not that person anymore,” she said.
The Baywatch star was also keen to challenge the idea of ??beauty as a mask.
"I just started thinking it was so stupid to be at Paris Fashion Week in makeup, so I said to myself: I'm not going to sit in a makeup chair for three hours," she said.
Pamela, in conclusion, emphasized that she was happy to have moved away from the image that people had created for her.
