It seems love knows no age, nor does it know any script, at least not in the case of Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson. The pair, who met while filming the comedy "The Naked Gun," have been involved in a romance that has gone beyond the cameras. According to a source for PEOPLE magazine, their relationship is in its early stages, but it's "sincere" and "it's clear they're crazy about each other."
Pamela, 58, and Liam, 73, have been spending a lot of time together in recent weeks on the promotional tour for the film, which opens in theaters on August 1. The two are often seen smiling and very close during public events. During the London premiere, Pamela gave Liam a heartfelt kiss on the cheek, while during a joint appearance on the Today Show, they improvised a romantic scene where they were "caught" kissing.
The two have two sons each and even appeared together on the red carpet at the film's New York premiere. Anderson's eldest son, Brandon, and his brother Dylan were by their mother's side, while Neeson had sons Micheál and Daniel, born from his marriage to the late actress Natasha Richardson, by his side.
Interestingly, just a few months ago, Neeson told PEOPLE that he was no longer interested in dating. “I’m done with relationships,” he said in a 2024 interview, adding that he was living his life more quietly and introspectively. But it seems Pamela has changed that approach.
At the same time, Anderson has also been reserved about her personal life in recent years. But in recent interviews, she has described Neeson as a "true gentleman" who "brings the best out of you," while he has been open about his admiration for her: "I'm in love with her. She doesn't have a big ego, she's dedicated, kind and very easy to work with."
While filming "The Naked Gun," Pamela and Liam reportedly grew closer off-set, often having dinner with their assistants and chatting about literature and life. Pamela says their relationship during filming remained "professionally romantic," but the warm atmosphere between them was undeniable.
