Ardit Gjebrea, on his 62nd birthday, surrounded by family and friends, made one of those statements that will remain in your mind. "Magic Song", this year too, will not be presented by him alone. But the surprise of this year, which also marks the 25th anniversary of the festival, is that his daughter, Ana Gjebrea, will also take the stage. Yes, you read that correctly.
In a video shared from the Gjebrea family's summer vacation, featuring Arditi, his wife Anila, daughter Ana, and some close friends and colleagues, Arditi pauses to offer a birthday greeting and wish. And he shares it with everyone:
"What was the wish? I'm telling you. You know, family and work. Health for my family, 'Albanian Sunday' and 'Magic Song'. This year we have the 25th anniversary of 'Magic Song' and, being a very important and significant year, I would like to share with you a very great joy, that Ana Gjebrea will be the presenter of the 'Magic Song 2025' festival."
In the background, Ana's face cannot hide the emotion, because this may not have been a total surprise to her, but it was definitely an important moment in her life. And for those who have followed her even a little, the words she always says about her father – that he is the best father in the world – now take on an even deeper meaning.
Ana Gjebrea is only 16 years old, but not without experience on stage. She has sung live, had several musical projects and, most importantly, represented Albania in Junior Eurovision 2021 with the song "Stand By You".
