That was the next weird question on Reddit: Is there any benefit to being less attractive? Here is how some responded:
1. To be single and not be asked: "Why?", "But when will you get engaged?" etc.
2. To grow old. With age, people who have the beautiful appearance part of their character, face many mental crises.
3. To be left alone.
4. People assume that success is based on your skills. Nobody says, "Normal to take a job because it's sex."
5. In fact, everything is easier. I can go to the store or go out alone, without worrying that I will be harassed on the street. Often, I enjoy feeling invisible. At other times, I just dress sexy and lubricate beautifully. Men do not know how to make such distinctions.
6. The fact that I have no complexes. I can come up with a loose hooded sweatshirt, with wide overalls and nothing bothers me.
7. Finding a partner who loves you and not just your appearance.
8. Being friends with the opposite sex. I like to have boyfriends. If you are not attractive, their girlfriends do not have a problem either.
9. Honestly, the easiest thing for me is that people do not remember me. Moreover, nothing bothers me. I love myself even when I am in her most "neglected" form. Maybe this is the key to my connection to the moment, which is going so well!
10. This is how I distinguish more simply which men are bad people. I see the way they treat women to whom they do not feel attracted. I am not talking about myself here.
11. Being faithful. I have been loyal to my wife for over 20 years but it is not an achievement because no one wants to have sex with me. If many women had come back to me and I had not betrayed my wife. Then yes I would call it achievement.
12. I know many people do not think so, but I think love in general is easier. All the people I know and are not the most beautiful I have ever seen, are in very happy relationships. Beauty often attracts people who are only interested in appearance. We forget that love and happiness are not just about money and beauty, and sooner or later, that truth strikes us in the face.
