After the song and the music video, people have compared Addison to Selena Gomez. Many say that their voices look identical and others think that both the style of the song and the video are inspired by Selena.
"Addison is reminding me of Selena Gomez with this song," "The song is beautiful, but it gives me all of Selena's energies," were some of the comments.
Another group of commentators seem disappointed why there are so many more talented people than Addison or other TikTokers who are not given the opportunity they deserve. Of course, the song has also been followed by many memes that ironize Rae and Dixie D'Amelion.
