Egli Tako was invited today to "Albania Live" on Top Channel, where, among other things, she spoke about the photo between her and Gjesti at his brother's funeral.
Asked by moderator Sidorela Gjoni if ??she had expected the moment to be photographed and shared online, Egli simply replied with a no, clearly still annoyed by the situation.
"I don't want to comment on the topic at all. I respect their pain to the end and I don't want to speak at all regarding this topic. I can only say that humanity also died that day, so I don't want to comment on anything," she said, visibly disappointed.
After the tragic passing of Gjesti's brother, the funeral moment caused a lot of criticism online, as people present photographed the public figures who became part of the Kelmendi family's pain, sharing photos and videos online from their meetings with Gjesti.
Many of these public figures further commented on the shocking event, including Dafina Zeqiri, who reacted harshly on her social networks:
"This is absurd, inhumane and deeply disrespectful. Moments that should have been private turned into a circus. One day I will teach my son: These are the people you should stay away from, the ones who set the worst example. Humanity should never be traded for attention!"
